Optoquest offers a variety of optical passive devices such as DWDM filter module, polarization couplers and attenuators for long-haul trunk lines for optical communications, CWDM modules for metro networks, optical splitters for access networks, GE-PON modules, etc. We have adopted the completely mechanical YAG welding method as a fixation technique for our GFF modules with built-in high-performance transmissive filters, noise reduction modules, transmissive/reflective excitation modules, C/L separation modules in order to avoid the use of glue within their optical paths. All of these products satisfy the Telcordia Standards and are suitable for high-power applications with their excellent reliability. For these optical devices, optical joint technologies with precision to the level of sub-micron is indispensable. Our optical joint technologies for fiber to fiber, fiber to semi-conductor laser and fiber to optical waveguide joints allows efficient jointing of VCSEL and PD with quartz fiber or plastic fibers (POF) at a short wavelength. These technologies are widely applied not only in optical communications but also in other industries such as compact optical transmission/receiving modules for inter-devices optical wiring, high-sensitivity fiber sensors, photolithography machines, etc. Optoquest has accumulated ample know-how in high-precision fiber alignment technologies for passive optical communication devices and other applications in the wider optical industry. Through multi-faceted approach to combine these technologies with extensive knowledge and experience in optical engineering, Optoquest continues to pursue highly reliable ultra-small devices while developing high-density composite devices with enhanced functionality. |
