For the application of optical components and devices to industrial purposes, Optoquest combines optical technologies with the knowledge and experience of developing and manufacturing electronic circuits and software. We offer optical electronic products such as high-power solid laser light source, optical measuring equipments, high-sensitivity optical sensors, etc.
Our solid laser light source is the product of the successful marriage of elemental technologies in optics and electronic circuit technologies. We employ many of our unique technologies such as those for precision polishing of optical crystals, manufacturing of optical thin film, designing for high-efficiency laser optics, optical feedback circuits, crystal temperature regulating circuits, etc. Laser light sources are recently gaining in popularity in medical services, biological engineering, microscopes, etc. for the wavelengths for which semiconductor lasers are not available.
Optoquest offers bulk-type and waveguide-type wave converting elements for special spectrum of wavelengths such as those for second harmonic generators (SHG), sum frequency generators (SFG), parametric generators, etc.
Optical measuring equipments are used for measuring transmission ratios, reflection ratios and polarization of special optical elements as well as polarization and phase of high-speed optical elements. With E-O and O-E conversion technologies, the properties of light are effectively transferred to electricity. Users can easily control operation with a touch panel thanks to the built-in personal computer.
Optical sensors have been widely used for different industrial purposes because of there beneficial features such as high transmission speed of signals, immunity against errors caused by electromagnetic induction, capability of high-sensitivity sensing and measurement of minute details. Optoquest offers sensors for electric current, electric voltage and vibration. |
