Optical Thin Films -- An optical thin film is made up of layers of two or three different kinds of oxide dielectric materials stacked alternately. From anti-reflective films to totally-reflective (non-transmissive) films, products with different reflective characteristics can be made by combining different materials for the layers. More sophisticated layering techniques can give films more complicated properties such as selective transmission/reflection of light, blocking of ultraviolet or infrared rays, separation/synthesizing of RGB, separation/synthesizing of polarization components, etc. These oxide dielectric multilayer films are widely used in a variety of products such as narrow-band filters for optical communication, special filter for medical uses, optical modulators, noise reduction unit for CCD, optical pickup products, LCD projectors, laser components, etc.

Optical thin film technologies and cleaning techniques are inseparable and they both are an integral part of the production process. Our Optical Thin Films and Cleaning Business will look at the entire manufacturing process including pre and post production -- from receiving of substrates to inspection of the finished products and shipping -- and make every possible effort to offer standardized jigs for cleaning, vapor deposition, storage and transportation. We also offer unique proposals for further improvement of customer’s production process by minimizing the need for loading and unloading of components from the jigs in order to avoid contamination of the products with litter and dusts as much as possible.
